The Outing

We took our first small outing today to the farmers market downtown. It was brief but nice to get into the sunshine for a bit. Now we are about to enjoy our fresh artichokes and chicken!

Happy Frog

I like this photo. Tita Reese dressed her and I think she looks like a little, grinning frog. Good news was received today: her jaundice has dropped a couple points, which means she is getting better! Way to drink milk and poo, Bailey (that is what ultimately rids a baby of jaundice)!!

I just love her eyes in this one. They are the most amazing blue!

The Bili Bed

We had to stay an extra night at the hospital so Bailey could work on her shade. Although she looks like an expert tanner, she had to sleep on this Bili Bed to help reduce her jaundice (which is a high level of bilirubin in the blood). Most babies hate the bili bed, since they have to lay there without swaddling blankets but Bailey could lay there for days! I personally think she liked the way she looked in those goggles. She wears them well.
